When you see someone in a military uniform, stop and think about the fact that they are making a sacrifice of long periods of separation from family and loved ones and they willingly put themselves in harms way risking life and limb to protect you, your family and your right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Then tell them you appreciate them and their love of our country.
Senator Elbert Guillory is a Republican senator from Louisiana. He clearly understands the failings of Obama and his policies. He also has a deep respect and understanding of the U.S. Constitution and is disheartened that President Obama either doesn't care about or is just basically opposed to the constitution and its rights and protections which are granted by man's creator and which should then be upheld and protected by our government.
You have to wonder why the left gets so concerned about 12,000 deaths "due to gun violence" each year given the fact that about 65% of those are suicides. Where is their concern for the 1,095,000 babies murdered each year by the abortionist forceps and other tools of body dismemberment. The lesson here is if you are unable to defend yourself (like a human in the womb or a citizen without a gun) your continued existence rest in the hands of someone else who believes that ultimately their right to choose convenience for them over your life is acceptable and appropriate.
The United States has a long history of mutual assistance with France. It was the French who came to the aid of the United States in their fight for independence from Great Britain during the revolutionary war and it was the United States who came to the aid of France to defeat Nazi Germany and liberate France from German occupation. Watch the video below and ask yourself if we want to follow France down the path of a totally government controlled welfare state? With both France and the United States headed down a path of a socialist, progressive welfare state that seeks to destroy wealth and free enterprise, the only things which can lift people out of poverty, who will come to our aid? I'm thinking it's a Republican president and Republican controlled Congress.
